Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) last week introduced a bill — HR 3117 — aimed at “bring[ing] an end to the spread of HIV/AIDS in the United States and around the world,” according to the bill’s summary on the OpenCongress webpage. According to the text of the bill, it addresses the Global HIV/AIDS-Free Generation Strategy, the strategic use of funds to maximize results, as well as legal and policy barriers to accessing health care (9/17).
