KFF has an endowment. Why does it need donations?

Over 30% of KFF’s annual funding comes for the donor community, which helps us increase our research capacity and broaden the reach of our work. Our ability to expand our activities into emerging and vital issues like disinformation in health, the role racial equity plays in our health system, health journalism in the South, and the impact of health care costs on consumers, would not be possible without the generous support of our donors. Read more about KFF’s funding.

How will my donation be used?

Your support will allow us to do more of the work you already rely on:

– Policy research and polling on COVID-19, global health policy, health costs, the Affordable Care Act, HIV/AIDS, Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, racial equity and health policy, the uninsured, and women’s health policy.
– In-depth health policy news coverage provided by our news service, KFF Health News.
– Public information on HIV testing, prevention, and treatment for populations most at risk.
