NPR’s “All Things Considered” on Tuesday profiled the history of PEPFAR, including its creation, successes, and evolution. The program includes comments about the state of the AIDS epidemic before PEPFAR’s creation from Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases; Laura Guay, vice president of research at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation; and David Wilson, the World Bank’s Global AIDS Program director.
