Leaders at national, regional, and local levels must therefore acknowledge both the moral and the economic imperative to make needed investments in adequate WASH in health facilities for healthy and vibrant societies. Those who are entrusted with delivering health care, as well as water and sanitation services, must, in turn, recognize the imperative to work together for progress.
