USAID’s “IMPACTblog” presents remarks made by USAID Deputy Assistant Administrator for Asia Greg Beck at a recent Center for Strategic and International Studies conference on the U.S. response to Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. “…The government of the Philippines has been building their capacity and their ability to respond quickly and effectively over the last decade.
