The overall objective of the project is to strengthen health system capacity for fistula prevention, detection, treatment and reintegration in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Activities will begin immediately in Bangladesh, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Niger, Nigeria, and Uganda,” according to a USAID press release (1/6).
