Yanzhong Huang, adjunct senior fellow for global health at the Council on Foreign Relations, discusses WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus’s achievements thus far in his first year leading the WHO, and writes, “Tedros’s first year as director general of the WHO demonstrated his vision, leadership, and ability to seize an opportunity for action.
