“The U.K. ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo has urged the government of the country to be transparent in its fight against Ebola after a rising tide of corruption allegations. Emily Maltman made the call earlier this week in a joint statement with her U.S. and Canadian counterparts, Nicolas Simard and Mike Hammer, after the three toured the Equateur Province, the scene of the most recent Ebola outbreak in the country.
