Lauren Arias is the director of outreach and external affairs at KFF. She ensures that the organization’s trusted, nonpartisan information on national health care issues reaches a broad range of policymakers and organizations to help inform their policy decisions. Before joining KFF, Arias worked for more than a decade on Capitol Hill as a legislative director in the U.S. Senate and a senior policy aide covering health care and other issues, also in the Senate.

Ann DeFabio, senior vice president and chief communications officer, leads all external communications at KFF in support of the organization’s mission to provide trusted information on national health issues.Before joining KFF in 2022, DeFabio was the senior vice president and chief communications officer at The Pew Charitable Trusts, where she oversaw all aspects of the organization’s efforts to promote and advance policy and research goals worldwide.DeFabio previously served as deputy assistant administrator for public affairs…

Robin Sidel, director, digital marketing, leads KFF’s digital promotion efforts, including email marketing strategy, marketing operations, web events, analytics and other initiatives. Since she joined KFF in 2001 to launch kaisernetwork.org, KFF's former webcasting and news summary service, she has been involved in a wide range of website initiatives and strategic communications activities across KFF’s websites. Chris Lee is a senior communications officer at KFF, where he has worked since 2008. He previously was a staff writer at The Washington Post and The Dallas Morning News. Lee earned a Master in Public Policy degree from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.      

Craig Palosky serves as KFF’s senior director of communications, overseeing media relations and strategic communications for the organization, based in Washington. Palosky joined KFF in 2004 following six years as a public affairs officer with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Health Care Financing Administration. Prior to that, he reported for the Tampa Tribune, covering health care, politics and government.  Palosky holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Princeton University.
