Medicaid Eligibility and Enrollment Survey


The annual survey of state Medicaid and CHIP programs officials, which is conducted by KFF and the Georgetown University Center for Children and Families, presents a snapshot of key state Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, and renewal policies and procedures. Findings from the survey are captured in an annual report that focuses on policies and procedures that affect children, pregnant individuals, parents, and other non-elderly adults whose eligibility is based on Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) financial eligibility rules. Each year, the survey is sent to all 50 states and the District of Columbia, though response rates vary from year to year.
