The Independent Payment Advisory Board: A New Approach to Controlling Medicare Spending
Issue BriefIn 2010, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act authorized the creation of the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB) to help control the growth in Medicare costs.
