KFF Virtual Event and Special Post-election “What the Health?” Podcast

With voters focused on health care costs as a top affordability concern, what will the results of the midterm elections mean for health care going forward?  What motivated voters at the polls, and which ideas or proposals gained momentum on the campaign trail? What health care legislation and oversight might advance with a potential change in the balance of power in Congress while President Trump is still in the White House?  And in what ways could all of this influence health care issues in the 2028 presidential race?

On November 5 at Noon ET, join KFF for a special post-election discussion and live podcast taping on these topics and more. KFF experts and journalists will provide analysis and insights about what the election results could mean for health policy and take audience questions. Part of the discussion will focus on public opinion survey data on how voters weighed health care as they went to the polls nationally and in the four states with abortion-related ballot initiatives.
