The 2024 KFF Women’s Health Survey (WHS) was the eighth in a series of nationally representative surveys on women’s health conducted by KFF since 2001. The 2024 survey’s objective was to track and document women’s experiences and knowledge related to health and well-being based on a nationally representative sample of 6,246 adults ages 18 to 64, including 5,055 women and 1,191 men, and was conducted from May 15 to June 18, 2024. To better understand health care disparities, the survey included representative samples of Black, Hispanic, and Asian or Pacific Islander women as well as those who identify as LGBT+. Briefs from the 2024 survey focused on abortion experiences, knowledge, and attitudes among reproductive age women in the U.S., as well Florida and Arizona. Additional areas of focus included women’s experiences with contraception, and fertility services, mental health, and intimate partner violence and other topics related to health care access, cost, and insurance coverage.
