    Poll Finding

    This partnership survey with The Washington Post examines the experiences and attitudes of frontline health care workers during the coronavirus pandemic that overwhelmed many health care settings. With three COVID-19 vaccines currently being distributed to adults across the country, this project takes a look at the toll of the last year on frontline health care workers, including a look at the impact on their mental health and well being.

  • KFF COVID-19 Vaccine Monitor- Rural America

    Poll Finding

    This report examines in depth the vaccine-related views and experiences of rural residents and shows more than half of rural adults say they have already gotten at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine or will do so as soon as possible. Rural residents report fewer issues with both supply and access than those living in urban and suburban areas, and a large share of rural residents say they will “definitely not” get vaccinated.

  • Health Care Experiences of Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander Adults

    Issue Brief

    A new issue brief based on focus groups conducted by KFF among NHPI adults living in Hawaii and the continental U.S. highlights barriers NHPI people face when accessing health care, including geographic isolation, limited system capacity, and language access. In their own words, participants describe both positive and negative experiences in health care settings and discuss concerns about mental health in their communities.

  • KFF Health Tracking Poll: Public Views on Recent Tax and Budget Legislation

    Poll Finding

    KFF's Health Tracking Poll looks at awareness and perceived impact of the tax and budget law signed by Trump in July 2025. Nearly half of the public says that they expect the new law to generally hurt them and their families, about twice the share who say it will generally help. The law itself remains largely unpopular, with many more people holding unfavorable views than favorable ones.

  • KFF Health Tracking Poll February 2025: The Public’s Views on Global Health and USAID

    This poll finds most of the public believe the cutbacks at USAID will lead to increases in illness and death in low-income countries. Nearly half say it will reduce the U.S. budget. Most of the public also overestimates the share of the federal budget that is spent on foreign aid, and when informed it is about 1% of the federal budget, the share who want to reduce spending drops.

  • KFF COVID-19 Vaccine Monitor: April 2022

    Poll Finding

    This Vaccine Monitor survey finds about one in five parents of children under age five say they will get their child vaccinated right away, and another 38% plan to wait and see how the vaccine is working for others. With mask mandates lifted in many areas. most workers say they feel safe at their workplace, though Black, Hispanic and low-income workers are less likely to feel "very safe."
