I will lose my employer coverage mid-month. Can my Marketplace coverage start the same month my old coverage is terminated?

Generally, no. Your Marketplace coverage will begin the first day of the month after your employer coverage ends and you select a plan. For example, if you will lose employer coverage on July 15th and you select a Marketplace plan by June 30th, coverage would begin August 1st.
