    This brief provides an overview of the tele-PrEP landscape, including how PrEP services (e.g., consults, lab work, prescribing, and monitoring) are provided and factors that facilitate its provision as well as barriers that remain. It is based on in-depth interviews with representatives from the major national telehealth companies providing tele-PrEP and other select tele-PrEP programs.

    In this analysis, we explore the implications of the Build Back Better Act's current coverage provisions for people with HIV in select non-expansion states. We estimate the size of the population that could gain eligibility as well as their socio-demographic characteristics, examine their affordability barriers and assess the potential impact on the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program. We also explore what Medicaid expansion could mean in these non-expansion states for people with HIV.

    This data note explores findings from on an 8-day online search for at home COVID-19 tests at major retailers. The findings are described against the backdrop of the Biden Administration policy requiring plans to cover the cost of these tests. We find that these tests remain hard to find and that this limited availability could negatively affect the success of the reimbursement strategy.
