Donor Government International Funding for Family Planning Increased By 9 Percent In 2014
A new Kaiser Family Foundation report finds that donor governments provided US$1.4 billion in bilateral funding for family planning programs in low- and middle-income countries in 2014 – a 9 percent increase from 2013 and a 32 percent increase from 2012. The U.S. was the largest donor, providing US$637 million, nearly half of all bilateral funding for family planning programs in 2014.
