Tarena Lofton

Tarena Lofton, distribution editor, was previously the audience engagement producer at KFF Health News. She joined the organization in 2019 as a social media intern and was soon promoted to assistant social media manager. In 2021, she was hired as a strategic communications specialist by a top government relations and strategic communications firm based in Washington but returned to KFF. Lofton holds a master’s degree from Indiana University’s Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
