Jared Ortaliza is a Research Associate for the Peterson-KFF Health System Tracker. In this role, he helps in analyses related to health spending, affordability, and quality of healthcare in the United States and other countries.

Prior to joining KFF, he was an outbreak investigator for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. Jared graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a B.S. in Human Biology and Society.
