Ashley Mizuo

Ashley Mizuo is the Hawaiʻi correspondent for KFF Health News, covering healthcare policy across the islands. Before joining KFF, Mizuo was the government editor at Hawaiʻi Public Radio, where she led the newsroom’s state and local government coverage. Her work has been recognized by local and national news associations. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago and a master’s degree in public affairs reporting from the University of Illinois-Springfield.
