Statement of Trish Riley on behalf of the Kaiser Commission on the Future of Medicaid

This statement before the U.S. House of Representatives provides an overview of the critical importance of the multiple roles Medicaid plays as a safety net for the low-income people it serves; provides results of a recent Commission study on the recent rise in Medicaid spending; and urges the Committee to examine the implications of a transition to a reformed health care system on the Medicaid population.
