AIDS 2010: Gender Programming and Practices: Practical Approaches for Integration with HIV and AIDS

This session will focus on the U.S. Government’s current strategy to address gender issues within the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). Representatives from civil society, partner organizations, partner governments, the private sector, and PEPFAR will explore how gender is being incorporated into programming and policy, with a special focus on addressing gender based-violence in HIV prevention, treatment and care programs.
