Julia Foutz is a Policy Analyst with the Kaiser Family Foundation’s Program on Medicaid and the Uninsured, where she conducts data analyses focusing on insurance coverage and access to care for underserved populations. She has performed analyses using many national survey datasets, including the Current Population Survey, the National Health Interview Survey, and the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System. Prior to joining the Foundation, Julia worked as a Research Associate in the Division of Epidemiology at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, where she received her Masters in Public Health. She also holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia.
