Amrutha Ramaswamy

Amrutha Ramaswamy was a Policy Analyst with KFF’s Women’s Health Policy program. In this role, her work addresseed the impact of major health policy issues on women and girls. Her work focused on coverage, access, and financial challenges facing women. She also assisted in the maintenance and development of the State Health Facts database—a free online data collection of over 800 state-level health indicators.
Prior to joining the Women’s Health Policy team full time, she also worked on the KFF’s Program on Medicaid and the Uninsured. In this role, her work focused on health insurance coverage and access to care for underserved populations.
Amrutha holds a B.S. from Rutgers University, with a double major in Public Policy and Comparative Literature.
