Amanda Van Vleet

Amanda Van Vleet was the Special Assistant to the Executive Vice President and a Policy Analyst at the Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF). In addition to providing policy support to the Executive Vice President on a variety of KFF’s programs, she assisted with state health reform efforts and Medicaid policy research and analysis for the Kaiser Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured. Prior to joining the Kaiser Family Foundation, Amanda was a Program Associate at the Center for Health Care Strategies, and worked on health care and other legislative issues for U.S. Representative Ann Kirkpatrick (AZ-01). She has also worked with New York City’s Office of Citywide Health Insurance Access. She holds a MPH in Health Policy and Management from Columbia University and a BBA in Consulting and Management from Emory University.
