The anthropomorphized feces is part of a campaign — ‘Take Poo to the Loo’ — that tries to tackle a problem that has been surprisingly resistant to solutions: More than half of Indians don’t use toilets. … Joking about something so taboo — and, for many, a source of national embarrassment — could backfire…” (Lalwani, 4/10).
