U.S. Global Malaria Coordinator Rear Admiral Timothy Ziemer discusses U.S. efforts to prevent and control malaria through the President’s Malaria Initiative. “…As we set our sights on malaria elimination, we stand to avert nearly three billion cases of infection and generate some $4 trillion in additional economic output over the next 15 years.
