Uninsured vs. Insured: Problems Paying Bills

The uninsured are much more likely than those with health insurance to report having problems with medical bills. Nearly half (49%) of those without health insurance report having problems paying medical bills in the past year and more than four in ten (42%) currently have an overdue medical bill, compared to about one in six (17%) of those with health insurance.
