Uninsured vs. Insured: Problems Accessing Care

Those without health insurance are more than twice as likely as their insured counterparts to report skipping recommended treatments, not filling a prescription or cutting on prescriptions, or having problems getting mental health care because of the cost. Additionally, the uninsured are more likely than the insured to say there have been times in the past year when they didn’t have enough money to pay for medical or health care.
