HIV/AIDS as the Most Urgent Health Problem Facing the Nation by Age

Young people ages 18-29 (28%) are more likely than their older counterparts ages 30-49 (15%), ages 50-64 (17%) and ages 65 and over (10%) to name HIV/AIDS as the most urgent health problem facing the nation. However, even for young people, HIV/AIDS ranks behind cancer as the nation’s most urgent health problem.
