Perceptions of Access to HIV Prevention and Treatment in Developing Countries

Most Americans are aware that people in developing countries often go without HIV treatment and prevention services. Large majorities of the public say that most people in developing countries who need HIV treatment do NOT get the medication they need (92%), and that most people who are at high-risk for HIV in developing countries do NOT have access to prevention services such as education, testing and counseling (81%).
