Perceived Treatment of People with Disabilities in the Health Care System

Four in ten (40%) say that our health care system very or somewhat often treats people unfairly based on whether or not they are physically disabled. The public is more likely to think that people are unfairly treated by the health care system based on whether or not they have insurance (70% say very or somewhat often), their income (71%), their English ability (58%), education (48%), and race (47%).
