ngton, DC lunch briefing to provide an update about the ongoing recovery of=
 New Orleans from the devastating impact of Hurricane Katrina.  =0D=0A=0D=
=0AWith President Barack Obama taking office, there are signs that a renewe=
d effort to rebuild the Gulf Coast may occur.  On the first full day of the=
 new administration, Katrina was among the issues listed as part of the pre=
sident=92s agenda on the White House Web site.=0D=0A=0D=0AHow are New Orlea=
ns and its people doing today?  What parts of the recovery could be conside=
red successful?  What challenges remain?  What is the state of the health c=
are system in the city?  How has the national economic recession impacted r=
ecovery efforts?  These questions and many more will be explored with a div=
erse panel of speakers who have worked on New Orleans=92 recovery and broug=
