ly Foundation and the Center  for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS=
) Global Health Policy Center will examine the outcomes arising from the Gr=
oup of Eight  (G-8) summit in Italy relating to key global health issues, p=
articularly the Obama Administration=92s new Global Health Initiative and i=
ts newly launched global food security strategy. Discussion will also cover=
 the role of global health policy issues during President Obama=92s summit =
in Russia and his visit to Ghana before and after the G-8 summit, respectiv=
ely. In addition, the Foundation will  release a new report on funding from=
 donor countries, including the  United States and European nations, for gl=
obal health initiatives in  low- and middle-income countries.=0D=0A=0D=0AGa=
yle E. Smith, Senior Director for Relief, Stabilization and  Development at=
 the National Security Council and Senior Advisor to  the President of the =
United States, will be the keynote presenter.  Giovanni Castellaneta, Itali=
an Ambassador to the United States, will  offer insights about the summit=
=92s health outcomes. Kaiser Vice  President Jen Kates and CSIS Global Heal=
th Policy Center Director J. Stephen Morrison will moderate and offer addit=
