The Kaiser Family Foundation and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) cordially invite you to attend a briefing on the key issues and outcomes of the 2008 HIV/AIDS Implementers’ Meeting on July 1 in Washington D.C. at 9:30 am. Held in early June in Kampala, Uganda, the meeting was guided by its theme “Scaling Up Through Partnerships: Overcoming Obstacles to Implementation” and attracted more than 1,700 HIV/AIDS implementers from throughout world, representing more than 70 countries.
WHO: The briefing will be moderated by Jennifer Kates, vice president and Director of HIV Policy, Kaiser Family Foundation and J. Stephen Morrison, Executive Director, CSIS Task Force on HIV/AIDS, and feature:
- Ambassador Mark Dybul, U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator
- Janet Fleischman, Chair, CSIS HIV/AIDS Task Force Committee on Gender
