This Kaiser Family Foundation and XM Satellite Radio partnership combines the reach of XM Satellite Radio and the health policy and communications expertise of the Foundation to bring digests on a variety of health care issues to a wide listening audience every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The "Kaiser Family Foundation Health Care Minute" segments cover a broad range of topics such as how prescription drug costs will be covered for the 42 million seniors and the disabled on Medicare, ways in which employers are trying to reduce their spending on health insurance, and how the high costs of nursing home care will affect the baby boomer population.
The segments are produced by the Kaiser Family Foundation at its broadcast studio, located at the Foundation’s Washington, D.C. offices, and feature reporting by Kaiser Vice President Jackie Judd.
The segments air Friday, Saturday and Sunday on a variety of news and talk channels among XM Satellite Radio's 160 channel lineup, a list of which can be found on XM’s website.
