About News Media Partnerships
The Foundation in partnership with other organizations, such as research institutions, universities, and media outlets, conducts and commissions original survey research on a wide range of topics related to health policy and public health, as well as major social issues. The goal of these surveys is to better understand the public's knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors and to amplify the public's voice in national debates. Representatives of the sponsoring organizations work closely with the Foundation to develop the survey questions and analyze the results.

New NPR/Kaiser/Harvard Poll Examines This survey conducted jointly by NPR, the Kaiser Family Foundation, and the Harvard School of Public Health examines the public’s views and opinions of the role of health care interest groups in the ongoing federal health care debate.  The survey examines whether people feel their views are represented in the ongoing legislative process and their level of trust in different groups.

The Public and the Health Care Delivery System -- April 2009
A survey by NPR, the Kaiser Family Foundation, and the Harvard School of Public Health highlights the public’s attitudes and experiences with the American health care delivery system. The survey sheds light on Americans’ experiences with issues more typically discussed by health policy experts – including electronic medical records, coordination of care and comparative effectiveness.
