State Fiscal Conditions and Health Coverage: The Outlook for 2003


The Kaiser Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured highlighted three new reports about the states' fiscal crisis and its effect on health coverage at a Washington policy briefing. One new report shows 49 states have planned or implemented Medicaid cuts in fiscal year 2003.
