Kaiser Public Opinion Spotlights summarize the state of public opinion on key health care topics. Each uses data from Kaiser surveys as well as other sources to identify important themes, examine current views and note relevant trends over time.

e-Health and the Elderly: How Seniors Use the Internet for Health -- January 2005
A national Kaiser Family Foundation survey of older Americans found that as the Internet becomes an increasingly important resource for informing decisions about health and health care options, less than a third (31%) of seniors (age 65 and older) have ever gone online, but that more than two-thirds (70%) of the next generation of seniors (50-64 year-olds) have done so.
Parents, Media and Public Policy: A Kaiser Family Foundation Survey -- September 2004
This survey found that a majority of parents say they are “very” concerned about the amount of sex (60%) and violence (53%) their children are exposed to on TV.  The survey of 1,001 parents of children ages 2-17 was conducted in July and August 2004.
