Update on Individual Health Insurance, August 2004
At an August 2, 2004 briefing, the Kaiser Family Foundation and eHealthInsurance released a report providing information about the individual health insurance market using data from eHealthInsurance, the largest vendor of this type of insurance. The report includes who is buying individual insurance, what they are actually paying for the insurance, and buying patterns. The reports that will follow as part of this series, jointly produced by the Kaiser Family Foundation and eHealthInsurance, will provide trend information in such areas of interest as premiums and cost sharing, and data on other topics such as Health Savings Accounts and small business health insurance trends.
