The National ADAP Monitoring Project

Since 1996, the National ADAP Monitoring Project, an initiative of the Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) and the National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors (NASTAD), has conducted annual surveys of state AIDS Drug Assistance Programs (ADAPs). ADAPs, part of the Ryan White Program, provide HIV/AIDS-related prescription drugs to low-income, uninsured and underinsured individuals living with HIV/AIDS. ADAPs operate in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories and associated jurisdictions.

The National ADAP Monitoring Project provides the most up-to-date data on the fiscal, administrative, and programmatic status of ADAPs across the country. State-level data can also be found at www.statehealthfacts.org.
