Financing HIV/AIDS Care: A Quilt with Many Holes

There are multiple sources of insurance coverage and care for people with HIV/AIDS in the United States, including public programs such as Medicaid, Medicare, and the Ryan White Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency (CARE) Act, other safety net programs, and private coverage.
