About Testing 411

In 2007, Jamie Foxx and Queen Latifah joined together with NBA Cares to promote HIV testing in the U.S. and abroad in groundbreaking television and radio public service ads (PSAs). The Emmy-award winning campaign was developed by the NBA, HBO, the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GBC), and the Kaiser Family Foundation. BET and MTV aired the spots as part of ongoing public education campaigns on HIV/AIDS, Rap-It-Up and It's Your (Sex) Life, respectively. The ads also aired internationally in conjunction with the YOU campaign in Africa and the LIVE UP  campaign in the Caribbean.
