The April 1st world premiere of PEDRO, an MTV film from Dustin Lance Black, the Academy Award-winning writer of Milk, kicked off the GYT campaign. Throughout the month, MTV will continue to air PEDRO and integrate the campaign throughout.

MTV News aired a special segment following the premier of Pedro all about the importance of STD testing. In the peice, MTV TR3s' Carlos Santos took the audience through the steps of getting tested for STDs including HIV/AIDS. The piece spliced in cameos of popular celebrities, Soulja Boy, Perez Hilton, Joy Bryant and Joanna Garcia, sharing suprising facts about STDs and encouraging young people to GYT.
