Parents and Media

The sixth in a series of fact sheets on topics related to children, media and health pulls together the most relevant research about parents and the media. The fact sheet discusses parents' concerns about the effects of media on their children, how they supervise and monitor their child's exposure to media, and what rules they set for their children. The fact sheet also discusses parents' use of media ratings systems, the V-Chip and Internet filters.
