Parents and the V-Chip: A Kaiser Family Foundation Survey


A survey of 1,000 parents of children ages 2-17, concerning TV, the V-Chip, and the TV ratings system. This survey updates an earlier survey conducted by the Foundation in April 1998. Topics coveredinclude parental concerns about television content opinions on and use of the TV ratings system, understanding of how the TV ratings system works, and attitudes toward purchase and use of the V-Chip.
